Read about this winery HERE
Originally this winery produced Monte Cucco wines because the vineyards are in the Monte Cucco hills. After some years, Italian Tuscany laws designated Monte Cucco a DOC of Tuscany, so the use of "Monte Cucco" as a wine name was no longer possible. And so the name became "RONCO CUCCO" meaning vineyards on the top of the hill Monte Cucco. The word Ronco in Italian/Friulan means the Top of a hill.

This is the most complex of our white wines. Appearing a lovely, green-flecked yellow, it gradually releases an endless succession of floral and vegetal impressions, all well-integrated and harmonious, ranging from pennyroyal through elderflower. Full-bodied yet fragrant and richly-flavoured.
Delicious with spicy dishes and smoked cold cuts, and in particular with full-flavoured fish preparations. Serve at 14°C.
Alcohol: 13.5% – Total acidity: 5.1g/l
